Our Story

Rhythm Dance and Gymnastics is an enrichment company that offers classes in the Greater Houston area. Founded in July of 2020, it became our mission to impact as many children’s lives as possible through movement.


We partner with local childcare centers and Montessori schools to bring our classes on site. What began with two classes expanded to the many suburbs of Houston.  Check out our classes page for a full list of our location and schedules!

Our Team

  • Hello Rhythm Families, my name is Mrs. Lola and I am the owner and founder of Rhythm Dance and Gymnastics. My passion for dance gymnastics began at the age of 2 when I started attending a local dance studio. I loved learning new styles of dance, performing and wearing pretty costumes. I continued to dance ballet, jazz and modern all through junior high and high school. I attended Katy High School and was in the Bengal Brigade. (GOOOOOOO TIGERS!) We performed in many cool places including NRG Stadium. After college, I explored Ballroom dancing. I love being able to bring my knowledge and experience with different styles of dance to our preschool classes. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing a student light up when they’ve been introduced to a new skill.

  • Hey Rhythm Families, my name is Ms. Lauren. When I was in preschool at 3 years old, I started my first dance class! I then moved to a big studio and continued to dance competitively, as well as taking a few gymnastics classes until reaching Lvl 3. I then joined the drill team in high school! “Go Fillies!”. Making the drill team gave me the amazing opportunity to perform in the 2014 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! After graduating, I took time away from my love for dance and worked at a few active, family learning environments. Doing so made me realize I love teaching, so I needed to find a way to integrate my two passions together and have the chance to do so. At Rhythm, I am able to combine my passion for teaching with my love of dance. Most days, I am in the classroom with your students. But I also am writing our dance curriculum for the next school year.

  • Hello Rhythm Families, my name is CarolAnn Cooper but your children know me as Miss C! I’m the Manager and Social Media Director at Rhythm Dance & Gymnastics. My love for dance started at a young age! I grew up taking studio classes, dancing at church and being a part of competition teams. I’ve been teaching dance for over 6 years. I also have a background in Early Childhood Education and have worked for or in daycare schools for the past 4 years. Children are such a joy to me, I love being able to impact the next generation! I look forward to helping your children learn and grow!
